The Journey - A Story of a Middle East Immigrant
An inspirational success story that proves how the human spirit can overcome adverse circumstances. Professor Zadeh left the repressive society of Iran under the dictatorship of the late Shah, and moved to the United States. He describes his tenacious struggle for freedom in the US and later for peace and harmony in New Zealand. This lecture is based on his award-winning book by the same title.

Conquering English
"Putting the shoe on the other foot." A hilarious and captivating lecture that depicts slang and idioms from America to New Zealand. Zadeh's presentation illustrates how much confusion learning English creates for foreigners. This is a very enjoyable lecture for both the native English speaker and for those who speak English as a second language.

The Middle East - A Land of Conflict
Zadeh provides information on the countries of the region. He explains the problem oil has created, the power of religion, and the role and influence of Islamic hard-liners. He also addresses population density and poverty, internal and external problems, and the possibility for democracy and peace in the region.

Islam versus Terrorism
An intimate view of understanding Islam and the culture of the Middle East. Presented with a sensitivity designed to inform, not to condone or condemn a religion that dictates the lives of an estimated 1.6 billion followers. This presentation is based on his award-winning book by the same title.

Iran - Partner for Peace or Axis of Evil?
Professor Zadeh was educated in Iran and is very knowledgeable on the culture, politics, and government of this country. He provides information on the importance of Iran in the Middle East peace process, and gives insights into the possible reasons for decisions made by the present government.

Respecting Cultural Differences
"Take off your shoes and walk in someone else's". A presentation of an overall view of our world village composed of numerous unique neighborhoods with different races, cultures, religions, music, and languages. He emphasizes the importance of learning other languages, customs, and lifestyles in order to gain mutual respect in our global village.

Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia
The three regions of the South Pacific covering one-third of the Earth's surface, located in the largest of the four oceans of the world. What is unique about each region, and why these islands intrigue "snowbirds" from around the world.

New Zealand - What is a Kiwi?
The relaxed culture of Kiwis and the natural beauty of this land are only two of the reasons that visitors and locals alike call it "Godzone". New Zealanders know infinitely more about the world than the world knows about them. They cope, no matter what. Kiwis are non-judgmental. And they welcome visitors to their little corner of the world.

The Impossible Takes a Little Longer
A unique motivational lecture that inspires audiences to follow their dreams. Knowledge gained from this presentation can help you become a success-oriented individual. Zadeh has transformed many so-called "losers to winners".

The Expense of Ignorance
The silent hidden threat to any nation is the lack of quality education in public schools. This timely lecture provides many helpful ideas to make a difference in the futures of our children and grandchildren.

The Olympic Games
A brief history of the modern Olympic Games, which were created in hopes of bringing "World Peace and Brotherhood" through honest, friendly sports competition amongst the world. The Games were to instill a sense of pride and to give international recognition to all participating athletes. He also comments on the present function of the IOC, and how drugs, and politics could jeopardize the future of the Games.

Mental Training for Athletes
Everyone has a desire to win but very few have the capability to prepare to win. For coaches who want their teams or individual athletes to perform their best, mental training is absolutely a must. Learning the skills are only 50% of the needed preparation; the other 50% is the mental training for the winning edge.
